Snotty-Nosed Kids

I was wondering after the tenth time today why kids cry when you wipe their snotty noses. I can't figure it out. In my mind I'm helping them with a slightly nasty, slimy, oozing, discomforting problem. But they just assume fight me to the end jerking from side to side like a wild bull smearing it all over their face, then let me neatly and quickly wipe it away. I wonder what I'm fighting that God too wants to neatly and quickly wipe away like some bad habit oozing out, poor perspective on life crusting up, or some grotesque booger of a idea that I refuse to pick off and trash. Anyways they say you can learn a lot from your kids, well I guess I am. In life we encounter many sick things and must fight through them to remain healthy but need to not cry when we are getting wiped. Haaaa Choo! Snnnifff Snniff!
